Gala dinner
The conference gala dinner will be held on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, at Folwark Zalesie, a historic manor situated in a tranquil rural setting in southern Poland, approximately 25 km from Krakow. The venue is located on an elevated site, offering panoramic views of the surrounding natural landscape, which provides a distinguished backdrop for an official conference event.
Folwark Zalesie represents a thoughtful integration of regional architectural heritage with contemporary standards of comfort and service. The complex comprises several well-appointed dining and banquet spaces, enabling flexible arrangements suitable for formal academic gatherings. Particular emphasis is placed on high-quality service and cuisine based on regional and seasonal products.
Transportation to the banquet venue will be provided for all participants, with organized transfers from Krakow and a guaranteed return to the city following the event. By selecting this location, the organizers aim to present conference participants not only with the cultural and historical richness of Krakow, but also with the natural and architectural heritage of the wider Małopolska region, thereby enriching the overall conference experience.

Guided walking tour of Kazimierz
On Sunday, 20 September and Wednesday, 23 September afternoons, conference participants will have an opportunity to join a guided walking tour of Kazimierz, Krakow's historic Jewish Quarter. The tour will depart from the Galaxy Hotel at 2:00 p.m., last approximately 2–2.5 hours, and conclude back at the hotel.
During this guided walking tour, participants will experience the unique atmosphere of Kraków while discovering the historic district of Kazimierz. Your guide will lead you through its charming streets, sharing fascinating stories about the city's Jewish heritage, historic synagogues, the lively Plac Nowy, the magnificent Corpus Christi Basilica, and the many traces of the district's rich multicultural past. Along the way, you will learn about Kazimierz's fascinating history and its vibrant present-day character. The walk continues along historic streets towards the majestic Wawel Hill, ending at the famous Wawel Dragon statue on the banks of the Vistula River, from where the group will return to the hotel. This leisurely outdoor tour offers a perfect introduction to Kraków's rich history, legends, and unique cultural heritage.

Visit at the Museum of Engineering and Technology
On the evening of Monday, 21 September, conference participants will have a chance to visit the Museum of Engineering and Technology, located at 15 św. Wawrzyńca Street in Krakow, in the historic depot of the city's first narrow-gauge electric tramway. The museum will be open exclusively to conference participants from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Participants may either join a group walk from the Galaxy Hotel (departure times are provided in the conference program; the museum is located approx. 1 km from the Galaxy Hotel) or make their own way to the museum. Admission will be granted upon presentation of a valid conference badge.
It is a unique cultural venue in Krakow that explores the role of engineering and technology in shaping modern society. The visit will offer an opportunity to reflect on the evolution of engineering thought, design, and problem-solving through curated installations and interactive elements. The relaxed environment will provide an excellent setting for informal discussion, interdisciplinary exchange, and networking.
